One day an employee was so dissatisfied with his boss, since he worked for 10 years in his organization and did not get promoted, whereas, someone who recently joined the organization got promoted. So he schedules a meeting with his boss and discusses his displeasure. While discussing the boss tells the employee that his wife needs an iPhone and whether, he can do some research to find out which one to buy. So he goes, and when he is doing his research he notices that there are different models of phone with different price range , so he comes to his boss and asks him the price range and then again he comes back and asks for colour and it goes on and ...
Seeking God, I was looking for a glass-fronted bookshelf, and decided I might save myself some time and petrol if I used the internet instead of my car. But results, I discovered, are often more than a little perplexing. On one website, the page was headed: "Products Matching 'Glass Front Bookshelf.'" Naturally, I was hoping to find glass-fronted bookshelves. Instead, out of the twelve possible items for me to select from, there was a vacuum cleaner, an outdoor gazebo, a cello, retractable crowd control barriers, sports bags, a multi-purpose ladder, a baby carriage, and a motorised folding arm awning. God is much more reliable. His promise is that we will find Him, if we search for Him with all our hearts. (Jeremiah 29:13)

What is Evangelism?
The spreading of the gospel by public preaching or personal witness.
Also evangelism is the commitment to, or act.
Whenever I use the word evangelism which is in my below message. You should remind yourself that I need to be a witness. That sounds good? Yeah
Why it is so important? And what is my commitment towards it?
Evangelism is suffering and we hardly see that happening. I am also talking to myself and believe it is true for you as well.
God showed his love by sending Jesus who showcased God’s love for his creation and brought renewed hope for all of us, that we can directly access God . He gave a gift of salvation for all of us that whoever believes in him, ...
When we say obedience, what is the first thing that strikes?
Obedience is a very difficult aspect of our life. We learn it right from our childhood. Parents keep on insisting that we obey them. When we are at work, we are expected to obey our superiors, the terminologies may change but the bottom line is obedience. We may call it pressure, compulsion or anything else. If we analyse, we are obeying some or the other all the time. An explanation for that would be, if I don’t obey God, I am obeying either my flesh or an external source. I am all the time in that mode of obedience or submission. If I don’t obey my parents, I am obeying my flesh. Therefore, ...

Churchgoers ought to be nervous when they read the story of Judas. Proximity to Jesus was not guarantee of allegiance to Jesus or spiritual maturity. Judas was one of the inner circle of apostles. He spent around three years on the road with Jesus, witnessed his miracles in person and was personally discipled by Jesus and yet none of these things guaranteed his perseverance in the faith. Often Christians live as if their job is to simply turn up at church and it is the church's job to make sure they grow spiritually. But the Judas paradox shows us that there is still an onus on us to play our part in our spiritual formation.
One detail of the Judas story that seems particularly ...
When I was at work on Friday , we have a big bay and one of my colleague was asking a question to my other colleague. Why you did not take a holiday today and why Good Friday is good ? My other colleague answered her, that Jesus died for all my sins and wrong doing. What does that mean? I will illustrate it with a story; once upon a time there was a king and in his kingdom there was justice and order. Over a period of time, one day, he got a complain that there were some eggs which were stolen every day. Everybody wondered who could dare to steal in a just and orderly kingdom. The king passed a law ...
What is Palm Sunday?
Jesus allowed the multitudes to praise Him as their King on the Sunday before His crucifixion (Palm Sunday). The apostle Matthew affirms this as fulfilment of Zechariah 9:9a. Zechariah continues on with the prophecy:
What does Old Testament say about Palm Sunday or the Triumphal Entry about Jesus into Jerusalem?
Zechariah 9:9a
“9Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy king cometh unto thee.” (ASV, 1901)
Zechariah 9:9b
“9He is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, even upon a colt the foal of an ass.” (ASV, 1901)
( Other references Genesis 3:15, 49:10; Isaiah 7:14, 53:3; Deuteronomy 18:15; Daniel 9:26).
He was despised and rejected by mankind,
a man of suffering, and familiar with pain.
Like one from whom people hide their ...
What if we have 2 seeds, let’s say of an oak tree, and plant them, one seed planted in the middle of a dense forest and another seed planted in the slope of a hill. The seed panted in the slope of the hill is going to be exposed to all kinds of elements. That is, exposed to every storm, exposed to every wind, exposed to everything that comes. So this tree will grow up to be a very strong tree , as the roots had no choice but to go deeper, no choice but to spread wider and that tree is going to grow strong because it is exposed to all the things and it has to survive. What will happen to ...
Eph 6: 13 – 15
13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
An Illustration:
There was a bully who would demand lunch money. But because the victim was small, he would succumb to it. But eventually he thought that he needs to fight back, so he joined Karate lessons. But the master demanded him 5 dollars. He decided that the bully was much cheaper, and continued to pay him.
